In September this year my first book Arise and shine was published, a project that started when I had nothing to do. It was one of those days that a lot of people have, checking facebook and the web and all of sudden, I thought “it would be so cool if I wrote a book” and I began writing straight away. After reading Les Brown’s book “you can live your dreams” I had decided I was going to be a speaker and one thing that every speaker has is a book. I thought I had a story to tell but I did not think I could write. However that Saturday afternoon when I had a thought of writing a book I just got started. I did not have any money to publish a book, I did not know anything about the publishing industry I just got started. In Two years the book was published.

This is not a story of so many people, they have dream but they never do anything about, they think of changing their life but that’s all they do, think about. Because all they do is think about, they find a lot of obstacles that will be standing in their way hence they never get started. I truly believe that If I had not started writing the book that afternoon I would have never written it. Within a week of starting I had a chapter and my focus was now on finishing what I had started. I was so focused on finishing what I had started the price of publishing did not even cross my mind. After the writing was finished I focussed on having my work edited and after my work was edited I focused on getting my book published. If I had thought of all these things in the beginning I would never have got started and I would never have published my book. Stop planning about getting started and just get started.
