A few years ago I decided that the time had come for me to changes jobs and to show my boss some respect I told them that I had job interviews to go to. Their response was not the best, they questioned why I was going for those jobs I was going for. I knew that I had over stayed in the job and the time had come for me to move on, I did not take a lot of notice to what my manager was saying because I knew he time had come for me to move on. I had waited for the right opportunity for almost a year and now this opportunity was here and I was going to take it. I remember I spent a few minutes trying to convince my boss that I was making the right decision then I realised that the decision was supposed to be right for me and not my boss. I left the department with people I worked with expecting me to fail.

When moving jobs or cities or country, we want people to tell us that we are doing the right thing but the truth is a lot times people will not tell you that you are doing the right thing. A lot people spend so much of their time trying to convince other people why they are working on their dream. The only person who needs to know where you want to go is you, so don’t make any excuses for making the move you are making. Look at your dream right now and ask yourself what steps you need to take, no one need to know why, the only person who need to know why you are doing what you are doing is you. However you know you have a problem when you don’t know why you are doing what you are doing. The world does not need to know why you are doing what you are doing At the moment or what you are going to be doing next, you are the only person needs to know why.
